Summer Update
Okay....so I have fallen short in the updating of our blog, please forgive me! This has been a wild, fast summer. My parents arrived with their motorhome around the 24th of June and we headed up the canyon for the Henline family reunion. The next weekend was the 4th of July so once again we went up the canyon to celebrate with family and friends. Wish I had pictures but for some reason I didn't take the camera. The girls left and went to their father's house in Arizona for the rest of the summer so JT, Sheldon and I just hung out for the month of July with mom and dad popping in occasionaly. They parked their motorhome at my aunt's house and lived in it all summer. On July 15th, by brother Dain and his wife Emily and their 2 kids moved into their new home just 5 miles over from us. Dain had to return to North Carolina for 7 months to finish his medic training and then he can be stationed here in February. I am so excited to have more family around us. We went up the canyon one more time to the Rose (Creer) family reunion over the 24th of July. Devin and Preston came over from Colorado to join us for the long weekend. It was so good to see them. It is way too long between their visits now that we moved to Utah.
We so wanted to attend Sheldon's family reunion in Ohio this summer, but we just couldn't make it out. We miss you all and love you lots. We are determined to get to Florida this Christmas so we can spend time with our other family!

JT's Kindergarten Graduation - May 27th
Once again, the slide show for this post is below. JT's graduation program was very cute. They marched in with their graduation caps and sang songs. He got to say a part that he memorized. "V is for volunteers, parents and everyone." We are so excited that JT made it through kindergarten and he was only suspended once. Hopefully we can make it all the way through 1st grade with no trips to the principals office. He was very happy to get his diploma and get out of school for the summer. Now, he gets to be home with mom all day.......yippee!
JT's Field Day - May 26th
OK, I've tried for hours to get the slide show below to come up as part of this posting, but I guess it has to be it's own. I thought that I had seen my last field day when Bethanie went to middle school but.....no such luck. My parents came out from Colorado for Memorial Day weekend and all the activities the last week of school. JT did a fun run and I had some good pics of him coming through the finish line but they disappeared off my camera. Anyway, he was in lead then gave out half way around. He did come in 2nd though. I think he is becoming too much of a video couch potato so we signed him up for t-ball.
Mother's Day BBQ - May 9th
We decided to have a bbq for my birthday and mother's day. I invited many of the Henline clan over to celebrate with us. Only a few were able to come but we had a good time. Sheldon made his bbq ribs and his famous beans. After we stuffed ourselves completely, we went down to the pool in our community. It is a hot springs pool so the water is very warm but the air outside was kind of cold. The kids had a great time and didn't want to get out. We hope to do it again soon when more family and friends are around to join us.
