The girls and I took a Sunday drive 2 weeks ago to see if the leaves were changing. We took the Alpine Loop over to Cascade Springs. The aspens weren't gold yet but the reds and oranges were starting to pop. It was a beautiful afternoon in the mountains. We are hoping to go again soon but with the recent snow fall, we may be too late. I was telling my in-laws, Joe and Chauncey, when they were here this springs, how the mountain side looks like a bowl of trix cereal in the fall. I wish they were here to see it!

First Day of School - August 20th

Once again the kids are off to school. The girls get to go to the brand new high school down the road. Kelsey is a junior and Bethanie is a freshman. JT is off to first grade (all day...yea!). Don't they look so cute and hansome for their first day back to school?

Happy 65th!

My mom had a surprise party for my dad and aunt Nancy. Their birthdays are a week apart and they both turned 65 this year. Happy Birthday Old Farts!!!!

JT's First T-Ball Game

Okay, so this video is of JT playing his 1st t-ball game. As you can see, he hits and runs to 1st base, then he runs to 2nd base but he decides to jump to the other team for a second and pick up the ball and throw it home before heading to 3rd base. By the end of the season, he was a much better ball player.
